SERENIQUE WAY

Client Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 September 2026

These Client Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to services provided by Serenique Way ("Serenique Way", "we", "us" or "our") to clients ("you" or "your").

These Terms apply to bookings made through our website, by email, phone, message or any other booking method, and to the in-person services provided by Serenique Way.

By making a booking or attending a session, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to read these Terms and agree to them to the extent permitted by law.

1. Our Services

Serenique Way provides complementary and holistic wellbeing services.

Our services may include:

  • Energy healing

  • Sound healing

  • Off-the-body healing energies

  • Spinal Flow sessions

  • Other complementary wellbeing services described on our website or discussed with you before your session.

The particular service, session duration and applicable price will be displayed or communicated at the time of booking.

Our services are provided in person unless otherwise expressly agreed with you.

2. Nature of Our Services

Serenique Way provides complementary and holistic wellbeing services.

Our services are intended to support relaxation, wellbeing and personal experiences and are not intended to replace medical, psychological, chiropractic, physiotherapy or other professional healthcare services.

Serenique Way does not diagnose medical conditions, provide medical treatment, prescribe medication or provide medical advice.

You should seek appropriate advice from a suitably qualified healthcare professional for any medical, psychological or mental health concern.

You should not delay, stop or alter medical treatment or medication because of information received from Serenique Way.

Where we consider that a matter is outside the nature or scope of our services, we may recommend that you seek appropriate professional advice.

3. No Guaranteed Outcome

Holistic and complementary wellbeing services can affect people differently.

We do not guarantee that a particular physical, emotional, psychological or other outcome will occur as a result of a session.

Any information we provide about the nature of a service or experiences that clients may have is general information and should not be understood as a guarantee of a particular result.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

4. Booking and Acceptance

A booking request is not confirmed until Serenique Way has accepted the booking and provided confirmation.

When making a booking, you agree to provide information that is accurate and reasonably necessary for us to arrange and safely provide the service.

The price applicable to your booking will be the price displayed or communicated at the time the booking is accepted.

Prices may be changed for future bookings. A price change will not retrospectively alter the agreed price of an existing confirmed booking unless otherwise agreed with you or permitted by law.

5. Payment

Payment arrangements, including any deposit, prepayment or payment at the time of the appointment, will be communicated to you before or at the time of booking.

Any applicable fees will be clearly communicated before you are required to pay them.

If payment is required in advance, your booking may not be confirmed until the required payment has been received.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights concerning refunds or other remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling by You

We understand that circumstances can change.

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without a cancellation fee where you provide at least 24 hours' notice before your scheduled appointment.

Where you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, or do not attend your appointment, a cancellation or non-attendance fee may apply.

Any cancellation or non-attendance fee will be clearly communicated to you and will be reasonable and proportionate to the circumstances and the loss or costs reasonably incurred by Serenique Way.

Where a deposit or prepayment has been made, any amount retained will be subject to applicable law and will not prevent you from exercising any non-excludable consumer rights.

If exceptional circumstances affect your ability to attend, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may, at our discretion, waive or reduce a cancellation fee where appropriate.

7. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Serenique Way

We may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of illness, an emergency, practitioner availability, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where we cancel a session and you have already paid for the session, we will offer you a reasonable alternative appointment or refund any amount paid for the cancelled service, as appropriate.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.

8. Late Arrival

Please arrive at the agreed appointment time.

If you arrive late, we will generally endeavour to provide the remaining session time where reasonably possible. We may not be able to extend the session where doing so would affect another client or our ability to operate safely.

A late arrival will not automatically entitle you to a refund or reduction in the session price, subject to your rights under applicable law.

If circumstances beyond your reasonable control cause you to be late, please contact us as soon as possible.

9. Client Health and Safety

Before or during a session, we may ask you for information that is reasonably necessary to determine whether the service is appropriate and can be provided safely.

You should tell us about any relevant circumstances that may affect your participation, including, where relevant:

  • medical conditions;

  • injuries;

  • physical limitations;

  • allergies;

  • pregnancy;

  • medications or treatments;

  • recent surgery or medical procedures; or

  • other relevant health or safety concerns.

You are not required to disclose information that is not reasonably necessary for the service.

Providing information to Serenique Way does not replace obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Where we reasonably believe that a service may not be appropriate or safe for you, we may decline to provide the service or recommend that you seek appropriate professional advice.

10. Consent

Before providing a session, we will seek your consent to the service.

You may ask questions about the service before or during your appointment.

You may withdraw your consent to a service at any time.

If you withdraw consent during a session, the session may end. Any entitlement to a refund will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

Where a particular service involves physical contact, we will seek appropriate consent before providing that contact.

11. Children and Young People

Serenique Way welcomes clients of all ages.

For clients under 18 years of age, a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult authorised by the parent or legal guardian must provide consent for the client to receive the service and if the client is under 16 the adult, guardian is required to accompany the client and remain in the session for the duration of the appointment.

Where appropriate, we may require the parent or legal guardian to remain present during the session.

The accompanying adult is responsible for providing consent on behalf of the minor and for assisting with any information reasonably required to provide the service safely.

A minor must not attend or participate in a session without the required accompanying adult and consent.

Serenique Way reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session where the required consent has not been provided, where the required accompanying adult is not present, or where we reasonably consider that continuing the session would not be appropriate or safe.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or protections available to a child or young person under applicable Queensland or Australian law.

12. Professional Boundaries and Respect

We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment.

Clients must behave respectfully towards Serenique Way, practitioners, staff and other clients.

We may end or refuse a session where we reasonably believe that continuing would be unsafe, inappropriate, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate or otherwise inconsistent with a safe environment.

This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

13. Nature of Information Provided

Information provided by Serenique Way about our services and holistic wellbeing practices is provided for general informational and wellbeing purposes.

Our services and information are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, illness or medical condition.

We do not represent that our services are a substitute for medical, psychological or other professional healthcare.

You should obtain professional healthcare advice where appropriate.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

14. Privacy

Serenique Way respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Our Privacy Policy below explains how we collect, use, hold, disclose and protect personal information.

Where we collect sensitive information, including health information, we will handle that information in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

15. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, or any other applicable law.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

  • to cancel your service contract with us; and

  • to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem with the service rectified within a reasonable time. If the problem is not rectified, you may have rights to cancel the service contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.

Any limitation or exclusion of liability in these Terms applies only to the extent that the law permits us to limit or exclude that liability.

The above consumer guarantees are mandatory and cannot be removed by our Terms. AACCC+1

16. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serenique Way will not be responsible for loss or damage that:

  • was not reasonably foreseeable;

  • was not caused by Serenique Way's breach of these Terms or applicable law; or

  • resulted from information provided by you being materially inaccurate or incomplete, where that information was reasonably relevant to the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent that doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies:

  • consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded;

  • liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited;

  • liability arising from conduct for which the law does not permit exclusion or limitation; or

  • any other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses reasonably suffered by Serenique Way as a direct result of your:

  • unlawful conduct;

  • deliberate misconduct; or

  • material breach of these Terms,

except to the extent that the loss was caused or contributed to by Serenique Way or another person for whom Serenique Way is legally responsible.

Nothing in this clause requires you to indemnify Serenique Way for liability that cannot lawfully be transferred to you.

You must not reproduce, modify, publish, distribute or commercially use our material without our permission, except where permitted by law.

We endeavour to ensure that information on our website is accurate and current.

However, website information may change from time to time.

20. Complaints

We welcome feedback and encourage you to contact us directly if you have a concern about a service.

You can contact Serenique Way using the contact details below.

We will endeavour to respond to complaints fairly and within a reasonable timeframe.

Nothing in this section limits your right to make a complaint to a relevant government agency, consumer protection body or other authority where you are entitled to do so under applicable law.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes will be published on our website with an updated "Last updated" date.

A change to these Terms will not retrospectively alter the terms applying to a confirmed booking where doing so would adversely affect your rights or would otherwise be unlawful.

The Terms applying to a particular booking are generally the version made available to you when the booking was made, subject to any mandatory change required by law.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available under Australian law, the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising under these Terms.

Nothing in this clause prevents you from exercising any rights or remedies available under applicable Australian consumer law.

23. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be read down or removed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.
